Overview
Besides the “made to spec” products, Zoppas Industries also provides a wide range of standard flexible heaters, available in our stock in different sizes and ohmic values, as commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions for commercial applications and testing equipment.
Standard parts are available for immediate delivery (according to stock availability).
According to the units’ final usage, moreover, Zoppas Industries provides the stock heaters with 2 levels of qualification (Qualification Model (QM) Heater , ESCC Flight Model (FM) Heater), to allow coverage of all possibilities from Institutional, Military or Commercial Programs, to more fast-paced and budget-minded applications on Cubesats, Nanosats or Constellations, or to Ground Testing facilities.
Select from the standard products’ list in the datasheet the solution that will best fit your application. If the size or shape of your heatsink precludes using a single standard heater, you can cover the surface with a mosaic configuration, connecting multiple heaters in parallel.

- Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies (ZIHET) is a world leader with 60 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of heating elements and systems for all sorts of applications, including aerospace. Given its global presence and extensive experience in numerous applications, the group has developed a portfolio of skills and technologies to support the development of smart heating solutions in a wide range of sectors from consumer to industrial high tech and owns the most important certifications in accordance with the Standards required in those markets. In the space sector the company design and manufacture flexible heaters for space satellites, spacecrafts, pressurised modules and ground-based antennas since 1992, and is qualified for space applications according to ESA specification ESCC 4009/002 and 4009/004. Flexible heaters are typically used for thermal balancing of structures subject to sub-zero temperatures, moisture removal from semiconductors and circuits in payloads, defogging of sensors and lens and snow melting for ground-based antennas. In all business sectors, we work to find the best setup and customisation to develop client product platforms, in a process built on listening, discussion and collaboration with customers and partners. Our Design Engineers strive to find the best compromise between customer demands and other constraints.
