iSIM-170
Overview
iSIM-170 is the highest resolution optical payload of the iSIM family. It is an innovative and cost-effective instrument specifically designed for microsatellites.
The payload includes the optical front-end as well as state-of-the-art CMOS matrix detectors and an electronics subsystem for payload management and control.
With a total mass of 15 kg, iSIM-170 can achieve sub-meter resolution from an altitude of 500 km. It covers the Visible & Near InfraRed (VNIR) spectral range, offering both panchromatic and multispectral capabilities according to the user´s needs.
The Super Resolution algorithm developed by SATLANTIS can improve the spatial resolution by a factor of at least 2.5 and match the GSD to the instrument’s GRD.
