INLS 3U
Overview
Non-pyro release system for 3 kg class nano satellites. The dispenser is 100 x 100 x 340 mm and has micro switches to monitor door state and switches to confirm satellite ejection. Depending on the mass of the satellite, ejection typically happens at a velocity of 1.5 m/s and the entire ejection process takes about 5 seconds.
