Overview

Designed to transfer heat between two surfaces while allowing for relative motion or displacement between them. Flexible thermal links (FTL), are crucial for maintaining optimal temperatures in systems where flexibility of the connection is a critical feature, due to mechanical constraints. They help prevent overheating of components by dissipating heat effectively while allowing for the movement that occurs during operation.
Lidax FTLs have been part of the thermal control management of the ESA Missions, Bepi Colombo, EarthCare, Plato and more.
